8oz pour on tap at Edmunds Oast, Charleston SC
Pours jet black, small light tab head with little lacing. Aroma is tons of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate and subtle coconut. Aroma is very nice but fairly mild. Taste is Stronger than the aroma, with lots of coconut and chocolate; and of course tons of coffee. Mouthfeel is medium body with a high carbonation for the style but a well masked abv. Drinkability is very good. Overall, a very nice beer, with added dimensions for the coconut and chocolate that makes it better than the base beer.
