Appearance: pale yellow in color with a 1/2" head that falls to a thick surface covering. Some lace develops.
Smell: only some faint lime zest can be picked up through the aroma.
Taste: crackers, grass, lime zest, green grapes, and a decent herbal bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp from start to finish. Superbly refreshing.
Overall: a solid hopped up pilsner that is refreshing and a bunch of these can be had in the summer heat.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 9.99/ 6 pack. Canned 5/19/17. Served in a Burial snifter.
Pours a dull, semi hazy straw yellow with about a finger of white head. The foam is slow to settle, leaving a fluffy layer, full halo and some decent clumps of lace.
Clean, almost snappy aromas of pilsner malt, some light citrus zest and earthy hops.
Tastes of cracker, honey wheat, orange zest and faint melon. A smooth, tasty and ultimately easy drinking brew.
Crisp, medium light body with peppery carbonation. Clean finish with notes of crackery malt and earthy, vaguely fruity hops.
Nice work here as Burial and Zebulon team up. Fierce Invalids is an excellent, highly drinkable pilsner. This is worth a try, particularly for fans of the style. I think I might be picking up another six pack if it isn't all gone.

Possibly a better pilsner than Burial's Shadowclock. Moderate tropical aroma paired with a bright and super sessionable feel. AKA excellent!

Pours into a pilsner a lighter straw color with a half finger bone white head atop.Mild grassy hops and a slight metallic note in the nose, not in your face but a nice subtle/gentle aroma profile.Bready and freshly baked flavors upfront with that slight metallic note, the lime zest really shows thru followed by herbal and leafy hops in the finish.Even though it's a hoppy pils I like the bready malt base the best in this beer.

CANNED 5/19/17
Clear straw yellow under a small, sticky white head. Aromas of grassy, peppery hops, crackers, flowers, and subtle lime. Herbal spice, crisp melon, lime, light Pils malt, and lager yeast. Light bodied, crisp, and clean. Pretty nice, simple pale lager - very refreshing.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium pale yellow in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint to moderate pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a couple of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit, citrus/lime zest, and tropical/melon hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of bready + biscuit malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of bready + biscuit malts with a light hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by just shy of moderate flavors of spicy, citrus/grapefruit, citrus/lime zest, and tropical/melon hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly.
M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp and clean.
O: Easy to drink, refreshing, and enjoyable - perfect for summer with the nice hop flavors + aromas and light body. Alcohol is well hidden.
