A celebration of the everlasting splendor of beer's beginnings. Our traditional German-style festbier was brewed with our good friends at Creature Comforts, who we believe to be some of the best in the business at honoring those who came before us as brewers. Raise a liter. Prost.

This is best Marzan style beer I’ve tasted for 2020. Reminiscent of the Sierra Nevada collaboration from 2018 - most American brewed fest beers are too sweet or too malty. Burial and creature comforts nailed this one - very close to a true German Fest bier

Poured one and a half cans into a half liter stein a clear deep golden with a fizzy white head that was gone pretty quickly, while I liked the clarity in color I like more of a large blooming rocky head.Caramel, toast, and a bit of hard water notes in the nose, not overly sweet but I must say I have never got the hard water/mineral content in the style's aromas before. The feel is pretty light in the back end,up front it's ok but that finish is pretty light.Caramel and slight anise on the palate with not alot of toast or dough, just a little on the modest side.I was expecting a little more and the ratings bare that, but for me it lacked a little in all phases.

Crystal clear golden beer with a fluffy white head. No lacing left behind but the head clings to the edge of the glass and bubble continue rising in the middle. The smell is yeasty, bready, sweet and floral. Crisp clean flavor with a lot of malty sweetness and some bready yeast flavors. There is a nice floral and bitter hoppy aftertaste. This is a pretty solid beer.

A: Pours a clear medium golden yellow in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of active visible carbonation and faint amounts of pale amber colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Just shy of moderate aromas of toasted, bready, and biscuit malts with a light to moderate aroma of floral + grassy hops.
T: Upfront there are slightly heavier than moderate flavors of toasted, bready, and biscuit malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of floral + grassy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly leaving a clean finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Clean.
O: Easy to drink and enjoyable with well hidden alcohol. Refreshing and I could easily have a couple of these.
