Pour clear yellow - taste of peach as well as funkiness. Good farmhouse feel with some additional sourness. Light and crisp aftertaste, no bitterness. Solid.

this is a cool funky session saison type built like a grisette, low alcohol and with interesting grains. this has some rye malt in it, as well as wheat and a pils type, dry and grainy at the same time, a nice foundation for what else is going on here. the beer is fermented with second use peaches, which is a process we are starting to see more and more of in beer these days. i think it makes sense, they still have a lot to give obviously, why waste them? here its a white wine sharpness from the yeast pulling a sweet orchard fruitiness from the peaches, ripe but also sort of candied, sugary, summery, and i am glad there is rye and wheat in here to give this some character to balance, it needs the pale earthy malt to not be too sweet from the fruit. there is still quite a lot of peach flavor here, its not all sugar, and the winey wild culture is nice too, belgian fruitiness and bretty funk, not much wood if any here, so it tastes kind of raw to me, an endearing and rustic vibe. at the lower abv, this is really drinkable, i could have had several. still sweeter from the peach, but a delicate beer on the whole. burial has my full attention, i have been loving just about all of their beer!
