If we opened our eyes, we may be burned alive. A collaboration with the pulsating stream of sound (Dead Meadow) that has beamed across our taproom since the light of dawn. Double dry-hopped with Citra, Comet and a heady dose of Columbus Cryo. Made for our every awakening.

A: Pours a murky golden orange in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + straw yellow + pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of finger thick film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/tangerine, citrus/grapefruit zest, grassy, and herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + bready + cereal grain malts with a hint of grainy sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + bready + cereal grain malts with a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of citrus/tangerine, citrus/grapefruit zest, grassy, and herbal hops which impart a very light amount of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving lingering citrus + herbal hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp upfront with a light amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohols and a relatively soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with an interesting combination of hop flavors - somewhat the NE APA mouthfeel + low bitterness but with less juicy, more traditional hop flavors + aromas.

Pours a cloudy medium yellow with a well retained half inch white head that left nice lacing. Smell of citrus and tropical fruits, grass and some sweet malts in the background. Tastes of grapefruit, grapefruit peel, ripe pineapple, mango, grass, sweet malts and a bit of pine. Medium bodied and carbonated, lingering dry finish, creamy mouth feel.

Can (7/12 Release)
Cloudy yellow with a dense white head that slips down to a fuzzy collar - lots of lacing in rings. Aromas of tangerine, grassy herbs, fresh wort, and yellow cake. Grapefruit, mango, and general fresh green hoppy spiciness blending with a very subtle, almost nutty maltiness. Smooth, fluffy feel with a dry finish. Very nice.
