16 oz. can. Murky pale yellow. Smells of papaya, a little bit of acidic hops, and some earthy spicy hops. Sweet smelling, too. Tastes of big sweet tropical fruits. Passion fruit tempers it. Sweet for sure, but some garlic hops keep it drinkable. Medium heavy. Pushing the boundary of sweetness, but its hop profile is sufficiently dynamic to support it. Very nice.

A buddy picked this up for me on the Asheville South Slope 8-14-23 for $5.00. Canned 01 Aug 2023; consumed 10-20-23.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is great, notes of tropical and citrus fruit are very fresh.
Taste is nicely done with the light but substantial pale malt base displays a mix of orange, grapefruit, and a touch of strawberry. Finishes with a nice dose of sticky pine leading to a nice bitter finish; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very smooth and refreshing.
Overall a very tasty brew. Nice to enjoy a sort of WCIPA from Burial!

This was given to me by a cousin for Christmas, as I'm just getting around to it now. Haven't had anything from Burial in ages and although this didn't quite measure up to my favorites from these parts, this was a lovely IPA that was enjoyable, potent, and a bit too spicy for my liking!
No surprise that this poured a hazy goldenrod with plenty of foamy head to it, as it was uneven at the top before quietly settling to something more fitting. Lots of splashy, spotty lacing remained along the side of my glass as the suds at the top of the liquid never fully settled down. A copious amount of garlic and scallions were in the nose along with earthy hops, exotic fruit and oats for body. The taste closely followed suit as this had a nice fullness, lovely carbonation, and a fair amount of outdoorsy, weedy dankness to it. Stone fruit enters into the fray in the back as this packed plenty of heat, booze, and heft.
A bit of vegetable soup and sweet fruit pulp were around in the aftertaste as this was quite complex and deep, as well as heavy-handed. Canned on 10/17 with "(something) GONE BAD" underneath that day, this was fitting for an abnormally cool spring night as it soothed nicely and kept me warm during a late night hockey-watching session. This had plenty of hops and character to it, as well as plenty of punch!

Canned 7/28/20; drank 8/6/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice white head; strong, frothy lace.
Peach, melon, mild dry grass & faint booze heat notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Peach & melon flavors up front; mild dry grass & faint alcohol notes on the finish.
A HINT too boozy, but otherwise this is NE IPA perfection. Burial is on a hot streak with their IPA's right now...
