Canned 6/16/20; drank 6/25/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice off-white head; frothy lace.
Orange citrus, dry grass & faint pine notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Orange citrus & faint pine flavors; dry grass notes on the finish. No booze heat.
Balanced & enjoyable. I'd have another...

Poured from a can (16Jun2020) into a pint glass. Had tried this beer one or two days post-release, found it to have a ton of hop burn. Giving it another shot
L: totally opaque, dirty light yellow orange with a think white head. Looks fairly creamy
S: rich, ripe to overripe tropical nose, with this sweet candy aroma. Lots of mango, pineapple, passionfruit, orange. There’s this sweet dessert nature to the fruit smell, having a hard time describing it first thing I think of is sherbet. A bit of that vegetal hop burn I remembered but not too much, will see how it is on the swallow
T: follows the fruit aspects of the nose fairly well, lightly creamy orange and mango leading. Unfortunately that doesn’t last long and the hop burn/vegetal aspects from my first can are still there, resulting in a fairly bitter and unpleasant finish. Wouldn’t say it’s surprising, the can states >7lb/bbl, but perhaps this adds to the evidence that more isn’t always more especially w/r/t dry hopping these days
F: medium/heavy body, medium/light carbonation, fairly creamy, burn from the hops not my jam
O: decent promise from the nose falls short on the swallow. Practically a buyer beware story - I sort of expected some potential burn given the stated hop rate, and here we are
