Who the hell said excess had a limit. We shall worship only at the temple of human creativity. So why put a cap on good ideas. Let us run back our best memories. This complementary rich stout is the breakfast sage of our program. Made with loads of maple, maple wood smoked sea salt, Spicewalla Vietnamese cinnamon and whole Madagascar vanilla beans. Bathed in fresh johnny cakes, maple bourbon sauce, and toasted cinnamon crunch. The resulting aroma will wake you from the dark veil of your deathbed.

poured from a 500mL bottle into a perennial snifter. pours a slick dark brown with minimal foam head. really nice maple and chocolate notes on the nose and in the taste but the sea salt aspect might have been just a little too much for me. medium-full mouthfeel. certainly not a bad stout by any means. the maple was sort of odd. less breakfast flavored and more just really really sweet.

Very dark brown appearance with a nice tan/light brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a mild cinnamon and maple. Taste is a nice cinnamon with a tough of maple and vanilla.

Released 11/11/20; drank 12/3/20 @ the Yachives.
Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a small tan head; thick lacing.
Maple, sea salt, mild vanilla, mild chocolate & faint cinnamon notes in the nose.
Creamy, thick mouthfeel.
Cinnamon, mild vanilla & mild milk chocolate flavors up front; mild maple syrup notes & sharp cinnamon bite on the finish. As this warmed, mild booze heat emerged.
"Mild" keeps coming up in this review, with the exception of cinnamon, which dominates the flavor. It's good, but not great.
