Notes:
Imperial Stout with Chocolate and Coffee
A space in between the lost and the found. A dwelling of ghosts. A canvas to find truth. A double mashed, long boiled Imperial Stout that one-ups our batch of Mayhem one year ago today. We aged this anytime stout with our biggest dose of the rarest of beans from Onyx Coffee Roasters and a double-dip in the choicest of select nibs from French Broad Chocolate. Loads of creamy mocha, espresso ice cream, and gooey snickers.

Released 7/16/20; drank 7/25/20 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a nice, noisy dark tan head which quickly dissipated; almost no lace.
Milk chocolate, medium roast coffee bean & faint fresh earth notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Rich milk chocolate & mild medium roast flavors up front; faint fresh earth notes on the finish. A hint of booze heat emerged as this warmed.
Dangerously drinkable, and quite enjoyable for pastry stout fans.
