An imperial stout with French Broad Chocolate cocoa nibs, Forestry Camp toasted peanut butter, Spicewalla cinnamon, organic graham crackers, Tahitian vanilla bean and, maplewood smoked sea salt. All that. Our Portal base is our record gravity stout, always aged upon a double helping of cocoa nibs. But we took it up a notch, spiking our s'mores with the bright nuttiness of fluffernutter, by doubling down on the marshmallowy ritual of Tahitian vanilla bean and a truckload of house-roasted peanut butter. Soak in molten peanut butter cup, poured over graham icebox cake, topped with gooey caramel-soaked peanut cluster and served with cinnamon ice cream.

Released 8/5/20; drank 8/14/20 @ the Yarchives.
Midnight black appearance.
An even pour yielded a "grower" of a tan head (careful pouring!); minimal lace.
Rich peanut butter, vanilla, milk chocolate & faint pistachio notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Sweet milk chocolate, peanut butter & vanilla flavors up front; mild pistachio & faint booze heat notes on the finish.
Pastry haters will NOT go for this, but I think this is by far the best peanut butter stout I've had. Alchemy happened here; what should have been sticky, cloying & boozy is somehow easy to drink & enjoy. Bravo, Burial!
