Pours like motor oil thick thumb sized coco colored head, no light getting thru this baby.

Aroma is lots of coco, orange chocolates you get at Christmas, huge roasted notes light nuttiness even hints of dark fruit with the slightest hop herbal like presence.

Tastes is rich and thick loads of chocolate that dominate the roasted profile some light coffee hints mingle with some nuttiness. Rich orange flavors all over just like the orange chocolate slices at Christmas again mmm. This is one rich creamy dessert treat of a beer. Hops have to be present to prevent the cloying just pick up the slightest herbal tingle.

Mouthfeel is big rich thick and creamy.

Overall a wonderful brew might be even more orange then the last one they did. Sadly at 20$ bottle only got 2 and shared one with a buddy, wishing I had more.

Released 8/12/20; drank 8/22/20 @ the Yarchives.

Black appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice tan head; decent lace.

Dark chocolate, sweet orange candy & faint cream notes in the nose.

Thick, creamy mouthfeel.

Dark chocolate & sweet orange candy flavors up front; mild vanilla & faint booze heat notes on the finish.

A chocolate, orange & vanilla stout has the potential to be a cloying mess, but that's not a problem here. Somehow subtle & easy to drink; be careful of the ABV! Recommended.
