Poured from a can (18Aug2020) into a pint glass
L: darker almost dirty brown orange, totally opaque, smallish dense white head. Moderate lacing
S: solid overripe tropical nose, bit of citrusy bitterness underneath with some creamy sweetness as well. Get mango, passionfruit, pineapple leading with a grapefruit/orange citrus character following. Smooth, fairly rich sweet note as well but not cloying
T: follows the nose well, a solid tropical taste opens with a citrusy bitterness following. Get more of that pineapple and mango on the swallow, with the citrus flavor (grapefruit, orange) and bitterness a bit more pronounced. Somewhat creamy into the medium finish, that peanut butter sensation
F: medium body, medium carbonation, fairly smooth
O: fairly solid IPA from Burial, nose great but the taste is almost slightly thin vs. what I’m used to. Not bad, but Burial does better
