Released 9/2/20; drank 9/10/20 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
An even pour yielded a small khaki head; almost no lace.
Brown sugar, cream, mild cinnamon, mild maple & faint chocolate notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel with some cinnamon bite on the lips.
Brown sugar, cream & mild milk chocolate flavors up front; mild cinnamon & mild maple syrup notes on the finish. Some booze heat emerged as this warmed.
The maple and cinnamon aren't overpowering, which I appreciate, but while this is good it tries to do a bit too much. Good, not great.
