Why ruminate upon things you know to be, very much your imminent truth. Do not fight the wave, as the receding tide shall follow closely behind it. This benevolent 14% imperial stout was aged with loads of Philippine Macaroon Coconut, Tahitian Vanilla bean and Incahuasi single-origin coffee sourced from Peru and roasted by our friends at Counter Culture Coffee. The resulting contraption of decadence is gooey marshmallow fluff, toasted coconut macaroon and rich almond frosting.

Pitch black with some viscosity. Very short brown foam at the surface. Delectable aromas of mocha coffee, chocolate and of course heavy vanilla to back it all up. Taste likewise is quite similar, heavy sweet coffee blended with sweet chocolate and vanilla. Not really picking up the coconut. Mouthfeel is thick and full bodied, no warmth for a boozy stout. Overall, lovely beer. Its a sipper for sure, I stuck a cork in it and finished half the following day. Missing the coconut though. I think most beers with coconut tends to be overshadowed by other added adjuncts (unless coconut is the sole ingredient).

An aggressive pour from a cold bottle yields a slowly building massive mocha head that lasts. Huge aroma of coconut and almond. Amazing coconut flavor, coffee is very nicely balanced in the background. Vanilla is pervasive. Incredibly thick and chewy, the texture is the best. 14% Abv is not overtly noticeable. Overall this is an amazing imperial desert stout, would love to see a barrel aged version...

Released 3/24/21; drank 4/14/21 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small tan head; nice lace.
Medium roast coffee bean, rich vanilla, chocolate syrup & faint coconut notes in the nose.
Creamy, thick mouthfeel.
Rich coconut, medium roast coffee bean & rich vanilla flavors up front; milk chocolate notes on the finish. As this warmed, booze heat emerged.
Rich, but very tasty. I'd seek this out again.
