A - Pours pitch black with a thin tan head. Light amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is cocoa powder and vanilla.

T - The taste is sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and some light roasted malts.

As of this review, there are two beers named "Portal Into Infinite Nonexistence" listed under Burial Beer Co.; one is 15%ABV, and the other is at 13.5%ABV. This one is 13.5%ABV.

Look - Pours a black color with a nice brown head that goes away after a few minutes.

Smell - Malt, bread, and cocoa. Smell is a bit mild.

Taste - Taste is far better than the smell, with a wonderful taste of cocoa and vanilla. I find the taste to be very good.

Feel - Good carbonation, nicely creamy, and smooth.

Overall - This is a very good beer. So far, I'm impressed with what I've tried from Burial Beer Co.

Purchased at brewery on 5/12/25. Poured at 55.4°. Creamy dark tan head with a few rocks; very good cap retention leaves a long lasting island of micro dots; heavy ring; some spotty lacing; medium legs on swirl; black body with ruby edges. Vanilla; boozy retro nasal; a hint of toasted bread as beer warms. Taste is vanilla/chocolate; chocolate pudding; vanilla frosting finish. Silky smooth feel; mild burn on tip of tongue; medium plus body; not adjuncty; light carbonation; mouth warmth from 13.5%abv. Overall, vanilla from start to finish; sweet but not cloying; alcohol well hidden in the flavors; kinda like eating a vanilla bbbat and a chocolate bbbat candies at the same time; a tad sweet for pounding, but the alcohol would not hold me back!

500 ml bottle poured into a tulip

A- Black with a small mocha head

S- Sweet, lots of cocoa nibs/chocolate, roasted malts, bourbon, some charred oak, touch of vanilla. This is super sweet with very little balance.

T- Chocolate/cocoa nibs, some bourbon, oak, touch of vanilla, roasted coffee/malts. Still sweet but far more balanced than the nose.

M- Smooth, full body, a little chewy.

O- This is a tasty stout but I actually feel it would be better if they didn’t do double cocoa nibs

Bottle into pint glass. Pours an opaque used-motor-oil black, with a modest but persistent tan head. Initial impression is creamy-smooth cocoa, dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, and bourbon. Mouthfeel is thick and smooth. Nice alcohol burn. (I purchased a week ago and didn't cellar this one. Actually, I cellar a vanishingly small number of beers. I'm not the patient type.) Finish is somewhat boozy but cocoa and vanilla dominate. Overall, a really enjoyable Imperial Stout. Rivals (or beats) the better-known offerings. Get you some.

Dark appearance with slight tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a slightly sweet chocolate and coco blend. Taste is a very pleasant rich chocolate and coco blend.
