Notes:
Imperial stout with cocoa nibs, maple syrup, vanilla bean and lactose.
Memories are depictions of human fantasies come into contact with atmospheric forces we cannot control. The immense power of a universe misunderstood. The everlasting imprint of the marks left upon our minds. The mayhem of mortality. We started with blending young 15% imperial stout with 3 well-aged stout bases. We then aged this bastion of madness upon an untold amount of French Broad Chocolate cocoa nibs, maple syrup, whole Madagascar vanilla bean and fresh whip of lactose to add a creamy component. The final froth is a warm maple long john with chocolate frosting, washed down among a maple mocha frappuccino topped in maple cream truffles.

Released 2/10/21; drank 2/24/21 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a small khaki head; nice lace.
Strong maple, chocolate syrup & faint cream notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Strong maple & chocolate syrup flavors up front; rich vanilla notes on the finish. Almost no booze heat.
Pastry stout excellence.
