Released 8/28/20; drank 9/4/20 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
An even pour yielded a nice tan head; frothy lace.
Pecan, milk chocolate, mild cream, mild maple & faint oak notes in the nose.
Medium thick, creamy mouthfeel.
STRONG pecan & mild vanilla flavors up front; milk chocolate, mild vanilla & oak notes on the finish. Mild bourbon heat emerged as this warmed.
WOW...any time a nut is used in a beer I usually only catch a little flavor from it, if any; not here. It's a pecan bomb that blew me away. Certainly not for the faint of heart, but it's a unique treat.
