Notes:
Collaboration with Pinthouse Beer and Chief Shaka Zulu
Well we have to keep it going. This beer is for the prettiest champion of the battle, the masked walkers of the night, the keepers of the beat, and the feathered dancers of Super Sunday. And 100% of the profit goes to keep them parading, jamming and sustaining one of our greatest cultures. This year we partnered with the hop mavens at Pinthouse Beer in Austin to create an everyday drinking modern IPA. We whirlpooled with Incognito and then double dry-hopped with Simcoe, Nelson, Enigma and experimental HBC 630. We then hit it with a little Simcoe cryo.

Picked up a four-pack at the South Slope location on 4-24-21 for $17.00. Canned date is smudged and looks like March or April of 2021; consumed can number 2 on 4-23-21.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with a nice white head that is leaving lacing behind.
Nose is very nice, bursting with citrus and tropical hops.
Taste is nicely done with a moderate pale malt base that allows for the orange, mango, and grapefruit to display nicely. Finishes with a nice rind bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is wonderfully light and very easy to sip.
Overall a very smackable hazy IPA and i may have to have #3 today!

Pours a hazy murky pale yellow color with a nice cream colored foam cap that falls slow and laces well.
Aroma is nice tropical fruits some light citrus like bitterness underneath the fruitiness on a bready malt base with some sweetness.
Taste is more citrus in the taste then the smell but its mixed with the tropical fruits. Finish is lingering citrus rind with some grassy/herbal pop in the middle but citrus rind bite that lingers on the tongue for a few.
Mouthfeel is medium with lightly peppy carbonation.
Overall not bad, has good bitterness maybe could be a little juicier gut solid the way it is.
