Blood on the blade. Pure is the hand. A tangent back to where we already were. A beer that we should have made years ago. Made only with German Pils and Vienna malts, we then step mash before a hearty decoction, as rite of tradition. The beer is then fermented low and slow. under pressure, collecting natural carbonation along the way. We gave it a proper lagering and stuck it in these vessels for your repeatable enjoyment.

Many thx to CarolinaCardinals for the can!

A - Deep copper colored pour with perfect clarity and a sticky, frothy cream-colored lacing ring sticking to the sides.

S - Biscuity toasted caramel malt with a slight bit of earthiness to it.

T - Toasted caramel biscuity malt base gets balanced out halfway through with some some light earthy bitterness on the back side to balance things out.

M - Medium body with prickly carbonation.

O - Easy drinking and nicely done.

Picked up a four-pack from the South Slope cooler 9-17-25 for $15.00. Canned 01 AUG 2025; consumed 9-22-25.

Beer poured a deep reddish brown with a nice white head.

Nose has notes of toasted malts and a light touch of floral hops.

Taste is a lightly toasted malt base with the slightest touch of sweetness from the Vienna malts. Hops combine nicely as they provide balance and a hint of citrus.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and very smooth.

Overall this is a nice representation of the style.

Purchased directly from the brewery. Pours are beautiful dark amber, almost “rust” color. Thick gravelly head. Roasted malt and caramel aroma. Sticky sweet caramel upfront which gives way to a slight bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Overall, I might have a new “favorite “ lager!

A: Pours a clear medium to dark reddish copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate dark amber + honey + medium garnet red + dark golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a large handful of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of toasted + bready + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of lager yeast and a light aroma of spicy + earthy hops.

T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of toasted + bready + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by a slightly heavier than light flavor of lager yeast. Finally there is a light flavor of spicy + earthy hops which contribute a light amount of bitterness which lingers slightly before fading away leaving a relatively clean finish.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a smooth finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly lightly crisp and smooth mouthfeel. Enjoyable classic malts + hops flavors in this beer. Nice example of the style. Happy to drink a couple of these.

Pours into a becker a clear rich amber color with a half finger off white head atop.A solid mix of caramel, toast, and a healthy dose of spicy hops.A grainy fuller feel in the mouth, caramel and toast upfront on the palate with only moderate sweetness before a drying slightly earthy and quite spicy finish.A well made Vienna lager with a very good hop presence.
