Red Wine Barrel-Aged Barleywine with Tahitian, Mexican, and Bourbon Vanilla Beans
To all the beloved beer maniacs, say your gospel, take your journeys, and you will never go wrong. Our good friends @jwbmic, and John and Natalie Wakefield at @jwakefieldbeer have always beguiled our curiosity with big hearts and rampant festivity. So we collaborated on a beer to drink when the nights are long and the palate free. This traditional English-styled barleywine was brewed 18 months ago, and thrown into red wine barrels and some spent bourbon oak casks. After racking from the wood, we aged it on a blend of Mexican, Tahitian, and Bourbon vanilla beans to accent the pleasantries of the wood. Throw yourself through the mania with bandanas soaked in oaky Bordeaux, pile drivers into a bed of fig newtons, and finely tuned whiskers of caramel-dipped figs.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
