Notes: remember when we used to make memories. I remember when we used to do better. I truly do. A deranged psychobabble murmured with the likes of Other Half Brewing. Mashed with oats, and whirlpooled with the Heavy Resin treatment of Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Double dry-hopped with all the hops we have squeezed into our memoirs over the years, led by Citra, Motueka, Sabro, Cashmere, El Dorado, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Vic Secret and Centennial, before a dusting of Mosaic Cryo.

A friend of mine picked this up back in January from Burial and bought a can from him 2-21-22 for $5.50. Canned 12-28-21; consumed 4-6-22. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured a hazy orange with a nice white head.

Nose is very nice, fruity and dank.

Taste follows the nose with a larger malt base that displays mango, papaya, and an orange flavor. Finishes with a nice piney bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth.

Overall love the focus on a prickly bitter finish, well done Burial and Other Half!

Canned 12/28/21

L: Pours a hazy yellow orange with a thick pillowy head that thins to a film and sticks around the glass. Sticky and splotchy lacing.

S: Fairly muted aromas of generic citrus and tropical fruit. Lemon lime most prominent.

T: Citrus up front, more tropical in the middle, and some drying bitterness late. But more dry than bitter. No heat, so the 8.5% ABV is well hidden.

F: Medium mouthfeel, light carbonation.

O: Nothing wrong with this beer, but Burial and Other Half have set standards that create big expectations. This one is fine but lacks the super flavor pop separator. Still significantly better than most hazy DIPAs.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 12/28/21 into a Willi Becher pint glass.
L - Pours a hazy orange color with a solid white head that dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacing on the glass.
S - Smells of tropical fruit and peaches.
T - Tastes of tropical fruit, with some pineapple on the finish.
F - Very creamy with a medium body and carbonation.
O - Really nice, fruity IPA.
