Notes:
Collaboration with TRVE Brewing Company
This beer is for the prettiest champion of the battle, the masked walkers of the night, the keepers of the beat, and the feathered dancers of Super Sunday. And 100% of the profit goes to keep them parading, jamming and sustaining one of our greatest cultures. TRVE Brewing collaborated with us this year on this heady hoppy ale, double dry-hopped with Mosaic, Idaho Gem, and Idaho 7 Cryo. A: Pours a relatively clear medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale orange + apricot + peach colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy slightly creamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of medium thick film covering a total of approximately 40% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit it runs/grapefruit pith + tropical/papaya + herbal + spicy + pine resin hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + lightly toasted + pale malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + lightly toasted + pale malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit it runs/grapefruit pith + tropical/papaya + herbal + spicy + pine resin hops which impart a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very refreshing lighter + crisp + dry mouthfeel. Enjoyable West Coast IPA with nice citrus + pine + herbal + spicy hop presence.

A - Superb pour of pale golden yellow, semi-transparent, with short head and good lacing.
S - Bright citrus and pine hop, dank with some spun sugar highlights.
T - A citrus burst in the open, melon and pineapple notes fill the middle, and a spicier pepper and pith note to finish.
M - Bright frisky carbonation and moderate weight, dry close, with little build over time.
O - Bought a growler at 504 Craft Beer Reserve in New Orleans, an unexpected treat that delivers on its West Coast IPA promise.

Fresh 16 oz. can from the Charlotte outpost.
Lightly hazy straw color. Two fingers variegated white head. Full lacing curtains and cap.
Pineapple, yuzu, celery, green pepper aromas.
Tangerine, mint, honeydew melon, light pine, pepper flavors.
Strong hop bitterness but with good fruit and not approaching burn. Nice carbonation. Dry finish.
West Coast IPA is an accurate label but this is a unique beer. Great collab with TRUE.
