Notes:
Imperial Stout with Maple Syrup, Ginger, Caramel, Macadamia Nuts, Baking Spices, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sea Salt and Vanilla Bean
Enter this tomb and understand its veiled mysticism. Cyclical meanderings of thought gracing peaceful discomfort. A brief pause in the rituals that are never spoken. Journey into our minds with this blend of fresh and aged imperial stout soaked in caramel dipped ginger from Rayburn Farms, a melange of Spicewalla baking spices, and gobs of maple syrup. We then went ever further with a healthy dose of house roasted macadamia nuts and a dusting of bourbon barrel aged smoked Carolina sea salt. Experience freshly baked gingerbread crusted with caramel macadamias and coated in the finest maple syrup.

Bottle shared with two friends. Poured into a wine glass. Pours pitch black, like engine oil, with almost zero head. Aroma and flavor feature: ginger, cinnamon, sweet maple, vanilla, and salted caramel. Only the macadamia nuts are lost in the shuffle. Very impressive that all of the individual components can be picked out and enjoyed. Mouthfeel is thick and viscous and somehow not all that boozy, although this is definitely a sipper. Overall: it's hard to believe this is a 15% beer. It was fun to pick out the individual flavors. Pretty amazing with everything in this beer that it wasn't muddled.
