Where we drift. Standing in a pool of nonexistent expectations. Captive to thoughts of immense ecstasy. And still arriving in a vessel of monotonous rationality. Mashed with oats and wheat. Whirlpooled with Cryo and Incognito. Double dry-hopped with hand-selected Simcoe and Riwaka hops.

Appearance: A bubble show produces a two finger head ensconced above the cloudy goldenstraw colored liquid; good retention and squiggles of lace
Smell: Very tropical with passion fruit, pineapple, papaya and coconut tones
Taste: Pineapple and papaya forward with a hint of sweetened coconut; passion fruit tones add a slight bitterness, to the middle, but the overall profile is delicate and tropical
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and somewhat creamy; moderate carbonation
Overall: A rather delicate NE IPA; good for a nice quaff

A: Pours a murky milky medium golden mango yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + bright orange + peach + apricot + pale orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + citrus/kumquat + citrus/tangerine + tropical/papaya hops as well as light to moderate aromas of herbal + earthy + pine hops. Underneath there are a slightly lighter than moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are slightly lighter than moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to string flavors of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/kumquat + citrus/tangerine + tropical/papaya hops. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of herbal + earthy + pine hops.. The hops contribute a light amount of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving moderate lingering citrus + pine hop flavors.
M: Jusy shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant mouthfeel though not as creamy or soft/fluffy as some of the other examples of the style. Really enjoyable combination of hop varietals to produce a somewhat unique profile.
