Imperial Stout with Thai Banana, Strawberry, Toasted Coconut, Vanilla Bean, and Peanuts
The spurned zealot, disenchanted, washes again in the pretense of false hope. A cyclical meandering through the guise of joy. And for what purpose, but for moment of fleeting exuberance? In celebration of the opening of our Charlotte taproom we teamed up with our friends and neighbors at Resident Culture brewing to bring to you a new stout inspired by a coconut milk ice cream vegan banana split. Five of our finest stout bases were blended and then conditioned upon Thai banana, house toasted coconut, luscious strawberry, Madagascar vanilla and a scoop of dry roasted peanuts. Think chocolate ice cream, strawberry syrup, vanilla whipped coconut cream, and caramelized banana all topped with a dash of chopped Virginia peanuts.
