Picked up a 500 ml bottle at the South Slope location 10-28-22 for $19.00. Packaged October 2022; consumed 4-20-23.
Beer poured black as night with a nice tan head with the original pour.
Nose is very nice, chocolate nibs and nuts forward
Taste is a huge mildly roasted malt base that blends nicely with the nut adjuncts and chocolate nibs. Catching a touch of cherries in my aspirations. Finishes a touch sweet as intended.
Mouthfeel is very nice, full bodied and viscous with each sip being very smooth.
Overall a really enjoyable dessert beer before dinner!
