Received this in a trade with a buddy in my beer tasting group 12-2-22. Canned 11-20-22; consumed 5-11-23.
Beer pored cola brown with a nice off white head that has some good hang time.
Nose is menthol forward with hints of dark fruits.
Taste is very interesting, a lighter malt base that has a really nice combination of dark fruits and nuts. Finishes balanced with a touch of menthol that initially was off putting but with each sip tied the diverse flavors to work cohesively together.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and smooth.
Overall a really interesting beer that works well with my palate!

Purchased as part of a 4 pack directly from the brewery. 11/2/22 can date. Poured from the can into a teku glass.
Pours a dark amber; almost black. Fairly thick creamy head. Robust aroma of roasted pecans with a faint cherry aroma. Incredibly complex flavor of ginger, a bite of rhubarb and toasted malt and nuts. After reading the ingredients list I thought that maybe I might have made a mistake in ordering this, but it’s incredibly complex, balanced and tasty. I never should have questioned that beautiful insanity of the folks at Burial: I love it!
