Purchased at the brewery 5/1/23. Poured at 56°. Black with ruby edges; thin fast fizzy dark tan cap, poor retention leaves an island of micro dots; thin ring and a few spots of lace; medium legs. Strong roast coffee nose; boozy retro nasal. Very sweet milk chocolate, nutty vanilla, caramel candy; a little coffee taste as beer warmed; mild bitter roast on backend. Silky smooth feel; medium body; light carbonation; some face flushing mouth warmth from 15% abv. Overall, cloying, almost too sweet to finish; coffee nose but little on the tongue; mild bitter roast coffee linger albeit smothered by sugar; no alcohol flavor; one and done.
