All that was left were the pictures I cast among my memories. Carefully redrawn. Unamicably resolved. Layered into my way of being. And beset upon my tomorrow as if they were never today. Mashed with oats and candi sugar. Double dry-hopped with hand-selected Mosaic, Idaho Gem, and El Dorado.

Layering an IPA with the lupulin power of Mosaic, Idaho Gem and El Dorado hops, then drying it with the help of candy sugars, Burial's 8.5% Imperial IPA might be hard to remember the day after.

Enjoying them early and enjoying them often, A Confusingly Similar Concept To Something I Forgot From Yesterday is a name that we'll never remember, but a memorable taste that first kicks off with a pale goldenrod appearance, hazy and crowned with a foamy off-white froth. A billowing scent of citrus, tropical fruit and berry greets the nose along with a soft and herbal perfume of cedar and hemp. But the taste sets sail with a cereal sweetness of vanilla, cream, shortcake and honey.

But before long, the flavors start to favor the hops and all the memorable character from lime, white grapefruit, mango, under ripened orange, passionfruit and kiwi. More of a candied approach to fruit flavors seem slightly syrupy with fruit cocktail and tropical fruit punch, leading to a nearly tart, sherbet-like character of red currant and berry. Tightening into an herbal and sprucy bitterness, the balance is smooth with black tea, gin-like botanicals and verbena.

Full bodied but trending malty-dry, the session is a full and curious hop display of fruit and hop spice with a medium-long aftertaste of hemp, berry and fruit peels with a slight winey twinge.

From me, good beer, however Burial has better ones out there.
