To decay is to have lived. Brewed with oats and barley. Dry-hopped with Idaho 7, Idaho Gem, and Citra. A foray into the curiosities of your mind, leaning towards mango pulp, tangerine dream, and sticky citrus candies.

There was first the English IPA, then the American Midwestern IPA, then the Session IPA, then the West Coast IPA and the hazy IPA and Imperial IPA. Burial's stronger, hazier and bitter IPA is probably more than we can handle. I'm dead inside.
Woven together with hoppy flavors from Citra, Idaho Gem and Idaho-7 varieties, it's clear that All We Are Is The Slow Decay is not clear at all. Hazy with a matte golden, burnt taupe hue, the frothy ale teases the nose with a floral bouquet of citrus, perfume, herb and tropical fruits. But the creamy grain foundation of cereal, honeysuckle and agave bring a nearly poundcake-like taste and consistence to the beer's earl presence.
As the malt sweetness is slow to decline, the hop flavors rise in a plump and juicy display of tangerine, pink grapefruit and lemon in nearly branch ripe condition. More tropical flavors of dried pineapple, papaya and passionfruit bring a tangy succulence to the fruit medley before a more stern bitterness steps in late for an off-smooth hop bite equipped with fruit peel, fresh grasses, hemp and geranium.
Full bodied and malty-dry, the session closes with a mostly bitter finish and an extension of gin-like botanicals and muddled citrus peel.

Appearance: Pours with a nice bubble show that perches a three finger head atop the cloudy golden liquid; strong retention and a wall of lace
Smell: Juicy aromatics with mango and tangerine pronounced; pineapple in the mix
Taste: Juicy mango and pineapple forward with candied tangerine flavors develop; slightly dank but verging sweet into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation; slight warmth in the gullet
Overall: A bright, juicy NE DIPA; I would prefer a bit less candy and more bitterness but it is still enjoyable
