Foudre-aged summerbock
Only within, will you find space for opportunity. Only there, will the finest possibilities come to rest as the blocks you walk across. Over the years, we have attempted to master the balance of a summer bock, working with a few different takes to hone in on the truth of the matter. This helles bock-style lager is brewed with a new season of growth in mind using German Barke Pils and a seasonally lighter dose of German munich malts. Dosed with Herbrucker, saaz, and grungeist hops for a touch of floral, citrus, and spice. The beer is then aged in our brand new American Oak Foudre at our Buxton brewery for over a month, before going back to steel for high carbonation. The end result is a basket of sweet, citrus zest morning bread, orchard fruit in the sun, and baking spice galore
