West Coast-Style India Pale Ale with Yuzu and Calamansi
Beyond any boundary or threshold. A constant transition into new forms. This is the second iteration of our AAPI collaboration conceived of by Lead Production Brewer Jaemin Riley and Lead Blender Rachael Morris. Collaborators from The Answer, Resident Culture, Noble Beast, and Highland Brewing converged in order to celebrate and highlight those in the Asian American and Pacific Island (AAPI) community and its flavors. This years conception starts with pilsner malt and rice to lay the foundation for a crisp West Coast. Whirlpooled with Motueka, Citra, and Eclipse. Dry-hopped with Eclipse, HBC 586, and even more Motueka. These hops were specifically selected in order to complement and enhance the bright, punchy yuzu and calamansi additions. Wafts of freshly sliced citrus and tropical fruit gummies, this beer is as refreshing as it is unique.

Look: It pours yellow with a little bit of clouding and a white fluffy head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell; It has some citrus elements and an almost candy like note with it. There are grainy sweet elements as well.
Taste: There are some citrus notes with a candy like note in the back ground. It has some grainy sweetness and like tropical flavors.
Feel: It has a medium body with a finish that is more sweet than bitter.
Overall, the flavors are light with the hops making it quite easy drinking.
