A harsh coexistence in cohabitation with others. A persistent capture of others' malignant misery. Just another day in the human squabble. And so balance remains in aim. Where the neon glow ushers in your reprieve. Where laughter creeps through the darkness just long enough to be your fix. And you share grins and glory. A smattering of Dream Candy with our big city friends at Hop Butcher. Mashed with oats and barley. Whirlpooled with Incognito and Cryo. Double dry-hopped with Citra, Krush, Citra Cryo, Nelson Cryo and Citra and Krush Hyperboosts.

Very interesting beer. Bought it because I love both breweries so was anticipating the collaboration. Soft, velvety type of feel with pleasant tropical notes. Cloudy with a slight citrus profile make it an NEIPA, but the subtlety of the flavors makes it different than most of the style. Glad I bought it, would do so again.

Opened a few minutes after it had been out of the fridge and poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned on 04/25/25 and consumed on 05/12/25. ~8$ for a 16oz can.

A&S: Pale hazy yellow. Off-white head, which has a creamy quality. The head retains in a thin layer. The aroma initially has lemon citrus and honeydew melon qualities complemented by some light pine. The melon and tropical fruits really come out as it warms. Goes from above average to phenomenal

T&M Oranges upfront. Pine (and a touch of lavender) comes in mid-taste and finishes with a balance between bitter and juicy. ABV is well hidden. Juicy and also clean. Green tea bitterness.
The mouthfeel maintains a creaminess while still having a carbonation kick and a clean and crisp finish.

Overall: I kept searching for aspects of this beer that I didn't like, but honestly, they were hard to find. A similar beer comp would be King Sue. A really solid beer. Would highly recommend.

Part of a recently purchased premade pack from the brewery. Pours an exquisite hazy golden orange color with a creamy head. Glorious ripe tropical fruit aroma. Beautifully balanced hop flavor with lovely malt. Lush mango and a slight bitterness. Full mouthfeel with very delicate carbonation. Overall, a stellar beer from two stellar breweries!

Teaming up for a sacred and beloved ale, Burial and Hop Butcher brewers tag team over this dissonance and give us a beer full of Citra, Krush and Nelson hops.

Taking full advantage of all the hop technologies at their disposal, The Sacred Slashie and the Beloved Dissonance hits the glass with a turbid goldenrod hue and a creamy white froth that sits atop. As the bold perfume of citrus, tropical and vinous fruits shine, the nose is also taken with the impact of cannabis and complementary botanicals. Full and sweet on the palate, the ale is rife with cereal grains for a creamy vanilla and coconut softness ahead of a hoppy onslaught of orange, peach, lemon and grape. As the fruit flavors range from citrus to tropical fruit, the development of passionfruit, mango, pineapple and papaya all come to mind. Trending bitter for balance, the late taste of cedar, sassafras, tea leaf, verbena and hemp all seem wrapped in a cocoon of white grape and honeydew.

Full bodied, creamy and trailing with an even-keel balance, the malty-dry ale is a formidable imperial hazy IPA worthy of dream candy.
