Some of us never arrived with the mysticism. Divine recognition nowhere in sight. A prophecy never spoken. This is a tale of turmoil in the shadows. Of sweat in silence. We've seen more than most. And that is what we depict, from different angles, for this world. 12th Anniversary musings with the spell crafters at Brujos Brewing. We employed their shortened mash methodology for this Quadruple IPA, with Riverbend's Appalachian Wheat and Malted Oats. Whirlpooled with Honey and double dry-hopped with Citra, Motueka, Riwaka, and Wakatu before finishing with at smattering of Motueka Cryo, Citra Incognito, and Citra Hyperboost

Pint can, pours a solid orange-tinged straw color with a finger of fading white head. The first sniff is of a hoppy, orange juice quality with mango too. Strong on the tropical quality. Taste is pretty similar. It tastes thick to me, but with a big dose of juice. It tastes like a blend of different juices - orange, mango, some grapefruit. Slight bitter aftertaste, but burning all the way down. Despite the size and strength, it's rather light and smooth.

So there's that, if you like NEIPAs and like them big.

Picked up a single 16 oz can from the Asheville South Slope location on 6-20-25 for $8.00. Canned on 17 JUN 2025; consumed 6-21-25.

Beer poured hazy light orange with a nice white head that dissipated pretty quickly.

Nose is very nice as the tropical and citrus hops are nicely burst and available to the imbiber to enjoy.

Taste is a large but surprisingly light malt base. Hopping is massive as i am getting orange, passion fruit, some grapefruit, and some piney notes. Finishes with some hop burn, -.25 points. Bitterness is 7/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and both soft and very smooth.

Overall, an interesting brew, figured once the abv goes north of 10.5 it would be burny. One was enough to satisfy my curiosity.
