Mashed with our house pils malt and a touch of white wheat. Double dry-hopped with El Dorado, Krush, Moutere, and Strata before a final smattering of Mosaic Incognito and El Dorado Cryo.

Tall pint into tulip:

Pours a pale amber gold with a strong two finger head. Good lacing. Sudsy, fruity, IPA aroma - citrus juice with some grassiness. Some malt, lighter fruit.

The taste is pretty similar. The fruit is up front, offering sweetness that is followed up by a pleasant, malty bitterness. Sort of a yin-yang of peachy, white grapey fruit juice and that bitter backbone. Mid in body, solid in carbonation, bit of a warming sensation going on for me. Clean, smooth. Very enjoyable, but different from a lot of other WCIPAS that come to mind. More delicate and tea-like in some ways.

Draft at Burial South Slope. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lace. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, peach and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a two finger head; strong retention with a few shards

Smell: Bready malt with grassy bitter tones conjoined with some fruity elements

Taste: Bready flavors underpin a complex blend of hop elements that start out grassy and herbal but there are subtle fruity tones underneath - melon, strawberry, passionfruit and grapefruit; none of the fruit really stands out but there is a lot of variety from the different hops used

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate to high carbonation

Overall: Burial describes this as a West Coast style IPA and, while the malt and the bitterness conform, there is a lot more going on here that you don't get in a typical West Coaster
