An exercise in overabundance with our friends at Monkish Brewing for Burnpile 2025. Mashed with Riverbend's wheat and oats. Whirlpooled with Motueka and Citro, in both pellet and Cryo form. Double dry-hopped with 12 pounds per barrel of Citra, Motueka, Simcoe, Citra Hyperboost, and Motueka Hop Kief.

Received a 16 oz cold can from a friend on 10-7-25. Canned on 22 SEP 2025; consumed 11-11-25. Cold stored since acquisition.
Beer poured hazy golden orange with an okay white head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is citrus and tropical hops forward with some floral notes in the background.
Taste is a large pale malt base that provides the canvas for the hopping. Getting notes of lime, grapefruit, peach, and passion fruit. Finishes with a herbal woody bitterness; 6/10 on my scale. Clean fusel free finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with each sip being soft and smooth.
Overall, the hopping is interesting. Amazing the brewers that can coax 12% abv out of their IPA yeast!
