Dated 12/30/25 LIFE MOVES, into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a hazy dark yellow with huge white foam and tons of lacing, very murky. Aroma is peach, grapefruit, and a very green vegetal dankness. Flavor is a lot less green than I expected, extremely peach and nectarine forward. There's some greenness on the back end as well as a very impressive freshly squeezed orange note. A little wheat and vanilla on the finish but mostly just a lot of pretty deep, realistic fruit paired with a distinct fresh cut grass and a tiny bit of dank. Feel is good, pretty low carb and smooth, which helps the sticky sweet flavors sit well. There's a very slight bitterness on the back end but really not much going on in that department, so it leans sweet and juicy but still quite refreshing in a lemonade sort of way. Finish is moderately long, showing off the malts and sugars as well as the fresh OJ, and then finally a little bitterness.
Overall, I missed not seeing Burial in PA, and this is the freshest of the fresh. Probably my favorite brewery that uses Vic Secret a lot, and the Citra, Nectaron, Vic Secret combo is a staple of theirs for a reason. Delicious mellow hops used in the perfect malt bill to create a thick, fruit-forward beer that reminds me why I love a good NEIPA.
