Imperial Stout with Almond, Madagascar Vanilla, and Raspberry
We shrink our desires into something manageable. Something that will not bruise us with its scale. Falling victim to the ritual of resignation. The slow turning away from wonder. Until we realize that was never our purpose after all. A riff on the iconic Prantl's Burnt Almond Torte with our PGH friends at Coven Brewing. We conditioned our massive Imperial Stout base upon toasted almond, bourbon-soaked Madagascar vanilla, and raspberry to achieve notes of almond joy, raspberry drizzled in dark chocolate, and a dose of vanilla cream.
