Collaboration with Fidens Brewing Co.
There's nothing left in their arsenal. Rationalization is way out the window. All of the excuses have been penned. Justification was a futile endeavor. So they cloak you in scathing titles. Little do they know just how endearing you find it. The latest banner hung with Fidens Brewing. Whirlpooled with Mosaic, Krush, and Nelson Cryo. Double dry-hopped with Mosaic Cryo, Nelson, Krush, and Vista.

collaboration with fidens, neat modern ipa, awesome modern mix of hops, almost no bitterness at all, juicy and somewhat sweet, perceived sweetness even higher, but all in service of the fruity side of this hop complexion, highly refined too, like great overall quality beyond the flavor, burial keeps on delivering! super blonde and pale, not even orange tinted this is pretty clear and honestly about yellow, more like pils than conventional ipa, im sure thats what the malt is or mostly is, nice puffy white head on it well over an inch tall, consistent carbonation, lively and excited looking (and indeed also feeling). aroma is poppy, the krush hops are obvious, stone fruit and lemongrass and red berry, some floral honey in play, pineapple from mosaic too, lightly catty as it warms i suppose but pretty clean overall, white wine from the nelson, some grassy and maybe even spicy character from the vista, cryo intensity from those, but not overdone, really great and nicely layered hop profile on top of very mild but appreciably fresh grain, high saturation but unforced, very tidy. the flavor is just as good as the nose, new school with low bitterness and major fruit tones though it, ripe melon, peach, mango, and again a little red berry thing, unique in the way it comes in waves, and unique in how long the flavor climax actually is, very quick up, long sustain, slow fade, neat, just a tad bit of finishing sweetness and hop oiliness and palate hang, all very pleasant, and still somewhat light overall with how minimal the grain part of this actually is. neutral ferment, warming to white grape, lychee, and mandarin oranges from the can, somewhat summery, very potent, starburst candy fruitiness, still drinkable for sure too. frothy and frothed up feeling, bubbly and palate coating but not heavy, almost creamy, dont mind the sweetness. rock solid.

Dated 05/15/26 THEEEEEEEE YANKEES WIN, into an Ever Grain becher pint.
Pours a clear gold with great fluffy foam, incredibly inviting. Aromia is dry peach, nectarine, and burnt popcorn, very heavy on the hops. Flavor is similar, incredibly dry stone fruit up front and diesel on the back, finishing very crispy. I get a lot of depth from the hops here, very dry and crisp still, but with a broad range of berry and peach that I enjoy a lot. As a baseline, it's very complex but just smooth hop juice, making it easy to drink but great to savor if you slow down. I get a lot of impressive vegetal flavors with very little palate bitterness, and it's dry without any puckering or actual bitterness in the way a good dry white wine would feel. There's a very intense rosemary note as well that I like a lot, and zero malt presence at all. Nothing but bright, vibrant hops. Feel is great, lively enough to bump the perceived bitterness while keeping it easy to drink, and lower body for an IPA. This one is actually crushable while having appreciable complexity.
Overall, a great modern WCIPA. I love how Burial does the style and the Fidens influence is apparent. This is such a dry hop bomb while being so easy to drink and horribly refreshing.
