This German style "roggenbier" is made with 50% red rye malt and German hefeweizen yeast. A fruity, spicy, complex session beer.

Poured from a Funky Buddha growler
Amber color, cloudy, turbid, minimal foam and lacing
Earthy, spicy, rye, bread, malt aromas
Slightly chewy mouthfeel, appropriate level of carbonation, virtually no alcohol heat
An excellent balance of malty flavors of a red with the spicy, peppery, slightly sour characteristics of a roggenbier.
I really enjoyed this beer! I hope they continue to brew this and it wasn't a one off.
