Brew is a pleasantly light straw golden, with a sizeable white head with good retention.
The nose is very hoppy, while retaining some rustic yeast and grainy pale malt notes. Reminiscent of a hoppy HF saison.
None of that fantastic aroma really translates to the palate, though. It's fairly bland, bringing a touch more body than an APA, and almost none of the hoppiness from the nose, save a touch of earthy bitterness. The pale malt comes across as plain, without any sweetness or balance.
As a table saison, this is a very drinkable beer with a wonderful aroma. There's nothing offensive or wrong about the brew, certainly. However, it does nothing special for me, either.
