White Sangria is an “effervescent” American Strong Ale brewed with grape must and aged in Chardonnay barrels from The Dreaming Tree Wines. To really drive home that Sangria experience, the beer was finished with additions of “apples, peaches, pears, and blood oranges for layers of lush fruitiness.”

I know the bottle said "White Sangria" but that's all it was. If this is one of your things, go getcha some...

Nice looking beer, gradient colored from dark to a light orange, white frothy head and decent lacing. But that's about it for this, I just couldn't get into it. The smell reminds me of a muted wine cooler, the mouthfeel is carbonated and astringent, and the taste is mostly sangria in nature. Not a bad offering, just not something I will be looking forward to in the future. I have three more to finish, hopefully I can unload them with the guests coming this holiday season...

Pours a dark hazy orange, with strong notes of green Apple off the nose. Initial taste of citrus and more apple towards the tail end. Strong taste of white wine as well. Great if you enjoy white wine and blood orange flavor.
