This is actually a collaboration between Rockaway Brewing Co. and the soon to be opened Fifth Hammer Brewing Co. Had it on keg at an art exhibit in Long Island City, N.Y.C
Pours a very hazy straw color with a hint of orange. Big foam head retains well and leaves tons of lacing.
The aroma is of wheat, pale malt and lemon. Nice balance of sweetness and slight tartness, even a hint of barnyard.
Light, silky and smooth in the mouth. Unbelievably drinkable and sessionable, especially on this scorching hot day. Lightly carbonated and dry in the finish. Flavors of wheat, pale malt and lemongrass.
A finely done Saison. I can't wait for Fifth Hammer Brewing to get up and running!
