Pours a frothy fizzy 1+ finger off-white head with fair retention, fluffy lacing, hazy iced tea brown color

Nose starts with apple cider, lots of fresh apple juice, some tart notes, some sweet caramelized and toasted malts, little grainy, a bit of red grape skin and dark red berry, floral notes and rich caramelized honey, light farmhouse saison spice characters

Taste brings plenty of honey up front, sweet rich raw honey as well as caramelized brioch like honey, a little herbal tea, floral spices and more mild farmhouse saison spices, caramelized toasted sweet malts, a bit of sweet bread crust, mild toasted biscuity notes, light bitterness, mild dark fruits with plum fig, dried red grape skin but not quite raisiny, dried mulberry maybe, mild dry finish a bit sweet sticky, more brioch honey and sweet bread crust with dried fruits lingering

Mouth is med bod, high effervescent mild prickly carb

Overall an interesting beer, pretty nice, that apple cider up front thankfully went away as I wasn't a fan and it seemed a bit out of place, but still enjoyable

750 mL bottle. Deep clear brown body. Big white head that settles quickly but retains a layer of surface foam. Smells of sweet corn and honey. Kinda weird. Tastes of honey, malt, and a corn aftertastes. Pretty sweet. Dry, carbonic, and a little bitter and yeasty in the finish. High carbonation. This is not very good and surprisingly disappointing from Blackberry Farm.

Blackberry Farm continues to impress. Pours a very dark copper brown, but the taste is surprisingly light and it has a nice low ABV. Despite the amount of honey used to brew this, it is not too sweet. Really nice.

Incredible offering from this niche brewery... I love their work and this beer reinforces that opinion... This beer is fermented with honey which doesn't really make an appearance until it warms up a touch and that's where this shines... Beautifully earthy and slightly sweet... Very subtle hints of honey and funk... Just very well done... These folks know how to make saisons... Funky and vibrant yet clever and subtle... Very highly recommended for those that appreciate a good farmhouse ale...

a spendy bottle of beer, but i still am awful glad i picked one up. its made with a few different honeys, but its not and sweet and raw as it seems like it would be. darker in color than expected too, more of an amber looking beer, with a bubbly white soda head on it and a lot of haze, even half way through the bottle, more rugged than it should be, like it needs to be more beer and less yeast sediment for the price, but whatever. awesome floral honey flavor here, but less sweet than others have described. i get a lot more grain than i expected to here, i mean, this is as malt driven as it is by honey or yeast. slightly wild, but more of the subtle farmy strain these guys usually bring to the table. a whole lot of nuance but nothing in your face. neat that there are multiple honeys in this, sexy terroir. great carbonation and some real substantial body for a beer that gets a lot of its fermentables from honey. this could have been more intensely flavorful, but i am learning with blackberry farm that understated is sort of the way of it, something to behold and be appreciated. is this worth near twenty bucks? im not sure, but its a real tasty and enjoyable brew, money be damned...

edit: this has either improved over time or gotten better in future batches if its been made more than once. i get even more raw honey now than i did the first time i had this, and seemingly more refinement, drier and brighter and just really incredibly complex, more rustic too, this is magical beer!

Pours a very hazy dark orange with red and brown highlights with soapy red-stained khaki head that fades to a thin ring with patchy lacing. Smell: this is immediately my favorite of the BFB 750ml saisons, as it's not an over-hopped "American" take. Instead this has a big raw honey blast, buttered doughy whole grain bread, cooked plum, with mild spicy hopping. Taste: nice blend of pear, apricot, nectarine with substantial peppery and spicy flavors upfront; whole-grain toast, note of dried orange, honey. Medum-plus bodied with ample but gentle carbonation takes a slow progression to a seltzer-dry yet still a bit sticky finish. This is really good.

As the saison style trends dry, spicy, hoppy and earthy, the collaborative efforts of Blackberry Farm with Fullstream Brewing leads to a somber and sweet balance that somehow blends harmoneously with the rusticity of the underlying style.

Daily Miel pours a bruised peach, rusty honey hue- an ugly duckling with a dry and arid meringue. Bright and beautiful aromas of juicy honeysuckle, candied citrus, honeydew, peach and apricot all promote a marmalade-like perfume. Its taste is generous with honey, fruit jam, bakliva and wine-soaked fruit.

Holding onto its bready-sweet malt and its honey influence, the beer's middle impressions are of fruit jams- orange, peach, pear, mango, papaya and cherry all play into a balance of peppercorn, clove and cumin. Slowly but surly, the taste of honey and biscuit turns steely of caramel and then finishing with semi-dry peanut skin and peppercorn.

Medium-bodied yet trending richer early because of the beer's strong honey component, the taste trends spicy, peppery, dry and vinous; eventually closing with a booze spice of young brandy and curaƧao liquor in the beer's wake.
