After 4 long years in our 20bbl oak tanks, called foeders, we refermented this mixed culture ale with copious amounts of Montmorency cherries. Adding lovely aromas of tart cherry cobbler, intermingled with spicy notes of oak, vanilla, warm spice and acetic funk from a long mixed fermentation. A true celebration of our deep love of oak, mixed culture fermentation and fruit.

Opaque reddish brown with a tan head, mild lacing. Big sour and sweet cherry with bright oak waltzing together in both smell and taste. Supporting elements of dry earth, simple basement funk, and lacto help boost the profile. Feel is sour and wild but not very acidic, with the bright oak guiding well. Nice flanders
