A delicious summer refreshing surprise. Purplish color with little head. Tastes like a berry slushy. 5% alc/vol. Might have try a 6pack next time to see "where'it takes me;)

This is definitely much better with food than by itself, I like Bubbles more by them as far as their fruited stuff goes so far. I taste cereal most of the time when it first touches my tongue amd then it goes into the slightly tart berry/apple flavor

Feeling fruity for the winter season? Rhinegeist Brewery meets the challenge with a robust berry ale that's sturdy enough to greet the cold while refreshing enough to keep the palate submerged in warm weather memories.

Blizzberry hits the glass with a purply and mauve pour. As its spritzy, spirited head builds, it falls swiftly to reveal a berry cocktail that's part wine, part mixed drink and all raspberry, blackberry and a blend of other dark, citrusy, cidery scents. A generous sweetness greets the tongue with the character of condensed fruit juices, jam and simple syrups.

As the culmination of fruit concentrate, syrups and nuanced fruitiness mingle on the middle palate, a taste of wine coolers come together nicely. Hints of honey, grape, cherry, apple and currant ebb and flow with a pleasantly tart balance that never steps into sour territory. A finish of slight bitterness and mild tannins offset a small margin of sweetness to allow the beer to close both sweet and fruity.

Medium bodied and somewhat plump with a juicy, off-cloying refreshment, Blizzberry would be that perfect beer for fans of cocktails who think they don't like beer. Perfectly suitable for a fruit punch mixer or a complement to anything from apple pie to cranberry sauce, this simplistic ale has its perfect place at the winter dinner table.
