De tercertiempocervezas. En copa de cáliz de val dieu. Programando Gestorred. No está mal, más un rico refresco a frambuesa que una cerveza pero está rica

Bought this at London's Beer Merchants. From the 4,000+ Uniques on UnTappd, my quick survey and conclusion is Framboise was first released in Belgium and then some of the re-release got to Chouffe's UK importer. Will Framboise be as popular as its Cherry fruit beer? Cherry is now almost ten years old and continues to please. Framboise needs to speedup its learning curve.
While Framboise Looks a pretty ruby, its foam could last longer; a more active yeast will give it protein swirls. Smells need to temper its sweet. Same goes for Taste; could use a little depth other than raspberries. (What is a classic desert combination with raspberries?) The other solution is to add more tart to the yeast. Medium-mouthed in a light and fruity style.
As for my much higher Overall Hugs, that's for d'Achouffe (who I like a lot for their brewing creativity that matches their excellent marketing icons, those cute gnomes.) I also give Duvel credit (who knows to manage its properties at arms length.) A Sante' !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
