One of the best beers ever made in my opinion. It has an earthiness that's so unique and I don't even like beets to begin with. I look forward to this every fall.

Had this as part of a flight at Crank Arm Brewing's taproom.
L: clear rose color, thin & quickly dissipating white head
S: weak fruit/vegetable smell
T: interesting, but not bad... generally not a fan of beets, but flavor is on the light side so I didn't mind it
F: light body & carbonation, but it fits the style
Overall, this beer is unique but not bad. I don't think I'd want to drink it regularly, though.

Poured on tap at the brewery. Clear, bit more of a red hue than I'd have expected in a saison.
Nose has some typical notes of spice but definitely some sweet and bitter vegetable aroma here.
Flavor is a bit off for me. Not a fan of the extra vegetable profile. Funk is delicate and nice, a bit of spice comes through but overall not something I'm a big fan of.

Poured on-tap at the brewery, the beer is a crystal clear, rose coloring, with a filmy, clingy, white head. Nose of sugary sweetness, beets, green/vegetal notes, and subtle farmhouse highlights. Flavors are very bitter forward, with beet and greens providing a tangy and bitter blend. Some funky highlights throughout. Light bodied, with an earthy, bitter beet and sugary aftertaste. Light, dry finish. Interesting brew.
