Smooth is our Missouri Wild Ale that was fermented in and aged in a French Oak foedre with Missouri microflora for 2 years. Once mature, it was racked on to Missouri Nectarines from the same farm in which we get White Peaches for Fuzzy. Big stone fruit aromatics, subtle Brett complexities and a more refined acidity.

2024 Release.
Bright, acidic nectarines one the nose, clean with musty undertones. The palate is very sour, with dry stone fruit, citrus zest, and oaky tannin. The mouthfeel is clean & dry, with sharp, seltzery carbonation & puckering acidity.

Cloudy bright yellow pour with a white head that slowly fades. Smells of tart nectarine with bright oak, mild barrel funk, with juicy orange, peach and pineapple accents. Taste is much the same, funk as little stronger here plus takes on some barnyard, but the clear star is the tart nectarine. Well made beer, the feel shows this off. Tart but not too puckering, funky as a good contrast, barrel backing is deep but stays in the background, not that acidic as it all is very dialed in, though not very complex

A very complex and delicate beer. Golden color with a nice, white head. Gentle notes of barnyard, stone fruits, and lemon in the aroma. Tart, funky taste. Tartness is well-balanced.

Blend #2 on tap at SP's tap room. Yellow gold in color. Tastes like fresh nectarines. Decently carbed. Not overly acidic. Decent beer. Not sure I get the hype on the Top 250 list.

Definitely as good as billed, and yes, it is very smooth. Tart but not sour, funky but not overpowering, boozy burn that is pleasant with a crisp dry finish. I’m not a nectarine fan and I love the flavor profile. Outstanding easy sipper.

2014, I think. On tap at Fire on the Mountain in Denver.
Trademark Side Project acidity but not overwhelming. Big, punchy nectarine. Moderate to high carbonation. Tart. Refreshing. Really enjoyed it. One of the better Side Project’s I’ve had.
