Pours hazy yellow-orange with two fingers of white, foamy head. Great head retention with a few patches of lacing left behind. Lovely start. Aroma is grapes, melon, and apricots with a nice funkiness to it. Not overwhelmingly sour, or puckering, just a little funk. There is a touch of wood aroma in the back. Flavor profile is melon, lemon zest, and apricots. It maintains a little layer of funkiness to it. The sourness grows a little as the beer warms. Mouth feel is medium in thickness, and a fizzy, slightly velvety texture. It feels well blended and balanced in terms of feel. Overall, an exceptional wild ale that features a little funkiness set within a well-balanced flavor profile.

What a beer, and yet poured from the most unassuming bottle(you know, because it has no label). Pours a light golden yellow. Good funky notes on the nose. I really enjoyed the taste on this beer. The melon and kiwi mix was refreshing, and then the sour notes followed. Beautiful brew, and a real gem. If you ever make it to the Cellar, make sure to try it.

awesome beer, chardonnay barrel aged wild ale with kiwi and french melons, pretty darn interesting and anything but subtle on the weird ingredients. impressive stuff, has a sort of lambic base, wheaty and sour with a lo of wood and funk, more acidity than many of the other side project wild beers, and then loaded with these fruits. i get more melon than kiwi in the nose and the taste, but both are certainly there, an interesting tropical juiciness that really works with the chardonnay elements from the barrel, and gives a real lightness to the whole thing. quite tart in the end, dry for how forward the fruit is, and well rounded from the wheat on the feel. great mature wild yeast complexion too, as much or more than any others in that regard, and highly carbonated. this is some of the more interesting and complex wild beer i have encountered, and the quality overall is enormously impressive. its not cheap to drink beer at side project, not at all, but you certainly get what you pay for, and this little gem is worth the asking price. they all are really. amazing!

This is my favorite side project sour to date (I've been blessed enough to try almost all of them). Surprisingly clear pour from the 375 bottle. Nice lambic-Esque funky sheepsmilk cheese nose. There's tart, tang, vinousness, a hint of stone fruit--or maybe kiwi as the other reviewer said. Nice oak presence. Merci b2 seems like a study for this latest unlabeled creation. This is Cory playing Banksy.
